Currently, I am working as the marketing manager for a distribution company in Waukesha WI, JH Fagan company. Here, I have been given the opportunities to project manage the creation and marketing for a new company launch, North American LED, as well as provide the company with product catalogs, monthly newsletters, fliers, e-blasts, direct mail pieces and more. This 100+ year old company had always relied on their fave-to-face selling technique, but found themselves without the proper tools to be effective in sucha fierce market. My goal in developing this department has been to bridge that gap. What has been the most interesting part of this job has been being able to develop the sale from both ends. I create presentations structured to sell JH Fagan to the vendors of the products we would like to distribute, as well as develop presentation materials for the dealers we would like to sell these products to. Seeing a plan from its infancy all the way to the bottom line is a view point most sales people don’t get to experience and it has been truely rewarding. I have had the opportunity to create materials and presentations for lines such as Sony, LG, Amana, and Insignia.
